Apartment Claims Denied due to Aluminum Wiring

Apartment insurance policies in many cases exclude coverage for properties that have aluminum wiring. This type of wiring is typically seen in units built from 1965 -1973 and became popular in construction during this time period due to the increasing cost of copper.
